Bike Lights

Theft-Resistant Bike Light
Every time we lock up our bike the same thought goes through our head, “How the hell am I gonna get home when this isn’t here when I get back?” We go to such lengths to prevent this, that it isn’t uncommon to see some dude in the Starbucks carrying around his front tire. What we find is far more common than our ride being jacked, is the bells and whistles being stolen off it (note: Not literally “bells and whistles,” we’re grown men). Seeing as how our lights are super important to our travels, they’re one of the bike accessories we really don’t want to part with. The Defender Theft-Resistant Bike Light solves the problem while providing us with some super-bright LEDs. Your toolkit, water bottle and pinwheel are on their own. $50

Nikon D800

Nikon D800

The New D800 ($3,000-3,300), my new dream camera, is a stunning new work of art from Nikon. Designed with resolution heads in mind, the D800 features a whopping 36.3-megapixel full-frame sensor which most likely will create quite the ripple in the median format camera companies minds, the 91,000-pixel 3D Color Matrix Metering III sensor, an improved 51-point AF system, full 1080p video capture with many professional features such as uncompressed HDMI output, full manual control, and a dedicated headphone jack for accurate monitoring of audio levels, a 3.2-inch LCD monitor, 4 fps shooting or 6 fps with the optional battery pack, SD and CF card slots, and the Expeed 3 image processing engine. this amazing piece is arriving in late March, but you'd better get your pre-orders in now or I might just by them all up for my bands photo crew.

LomoKino Smart Phone Holder

LomoKino Smart Phone Holder

I’ve yet to ever come across anyone who hasn’t in someway upgraded their iPhone camera. Whether it’s an app like Instagram,  Socialcam or through tossing some bulky addition onto the exterior, I don't know anyone who's left it as is and i never want to. well, here's a new great add-on if you happen to already be a fan of the LomoKino analog movie maker and want to bring that old school 50′s style to the stuff you shoot with your smart phone, the LomoKino Smart Phone Holder ($25) will do the trick. After it's strapped on and cranked,  you’ll get hooked on shooting the 50s style film that none of us actually grew up on.

Steve McQueen: The Actor and His Films

Steve McQueen: The Actor and His Films

Their are grammy's for musicians, Olympics for athletes and the death penalty for murderers, but for actors to tell if they are truly accomplished a coffee table book is the best award. Now we can add Steve McQueen to list of celebrated actors such as Marlon Brando, Anthony Hopkins and Jack Nicholson. Not only would this Steve McQueen finally sit in a well deserved public area, but it will probably garner you tons of praise and jealous looks. Steve McQueen: The Actor and His Films ($44) captures the life and times of The King of Cool in 1000's of photos throughout this 500 page book. Be careful, this book might be too manly for some viewers.
